As the title says. My friend said there’s no point in having over 300 due to some weird thing I couldn’t understand. Like with the enemy base damage.

Here’s a comment he might have been talking about: https://reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/o6c0l1/_/h2rk7ud/?context=1

Not quite true. More beyond* 350 to 400 is when the returns start to diminish but there is still an impact, just not that big. If you're already at that stage, you're probably better off focusing on overeaters armour to reduce your damage even more, though that doesn't help your energy damage. If you're in power armour, use electric absorption to counter that. If you're not in power armour, try getting secret service to boost your energy resistance and combine with the dodgy perk card to help more

Figures, those saying it's up to 350 doesn't know what they are talking about because power armor DR is higher than that.

Power armour is a different story since it has inherent damage protection. Can't quite compare the numbers like for like

Over eaters does not affect energy damage? Thought I t was a straight 6% reduction across the board. As it does not state it is ballistic only

"damage reduction" is ballistic only
