A recent Reddit post discussed their 250 treasure map findings. I frequently set out with the intention of visiting a treasure map site and never make it. There is always some distraction. The plans at the start of a gaming session are immediately disrupted by the Atom challenges, where the low hanging fruit must always be picked! Then comes the cooking, rather ingredients gathering for the cooking. There's a player camp with vending. Cheap Gears for sale, thank you kindly. Next up a workshop to act as forward operating base. I get disorientated and find a broken shack filled with bicycles. Weird. Whilst in the area I figure I'll pop over to Braxson's Quality Medical Supplies to see who is fighting who. I help things along with an Orbital Strike Beacon, or two! Free Range appears so I fast travel only to have the event fail to start. No matter I'll head to the treasure map. Except somebody is dropping a nuke in an unusual location. Time for some flora gathering. More Orbital Strike Beacon materials, oh yes. Restock, reorder. Now for the treasure map. Another nuke drops, this time on the Queen, perhaps she'll drop some plans. Maybe I can snag the Mega Sloth challenge whilst I'm there. Right now for the treasure map. Armour needs fixing. Oh no I'm out of steel, I'll just quickly nip to the store. Six hours have past, plenty of treasure but not much digging, perhaps tomorrow...

I feel like you wrote this up while spying on my game hahaha. I horde treasure maps and every day I sit down and go "Okay time to run through them all." then get so distracted by events and player vendors and challenges I'm lucky if I get to a single one.
