[2021] PSA: How to deal with the Power Armor bug

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but just in case someone is worried about using PA right now, here's how you can uncrash your character if it happens to you.

When you try to enter your PA and no animation plays (you can't move, interact, open menus etc) just wait until the PA gets automatically recalled (you can alt-tab and do something else in the meantime). Once that happens, your character is still bugged. You can move but still can't open menus or interact with objects.

Once the armor is recalled do the following:

• open the PIP-Boy
• select a random quest (doesn't matter if regular quest or daily)
• select "show on map"
• now on the map you can open the main game menu (default z on PC)
• exit to main Menu
• re-enter game and everything is back to normal
  

Maybe there are quicker ways to get into the main menu but that's how it works for me just fine.
