I'm not sure how obvious this is, but after the last update this was the only thing I could think about. Thought I would share just in case. Acid is a valuable resource for many of us. Despite there being a lot laying around the wasteland, to keep up with lead smelting and gunpowder, farming is certainly required if you want to have tens of thousands of rounds of ammo on you at all times. There were only two really decent spots that almost always guaranteed Yao Guai (Next to Mountainside Bed & Breakfast) or Snallygasters (Toxic Larry's Meat 'n Go) spawns, with the two giving at about 25-30 acid per server. A couple server hops and I would have enough to go, but the last update made everything a lot easier. Cave Crickets drop waste acid now. The second I read that I forgot everything else about the patch and went right to Tanagra Town (far east of the map in the Mire, its that giant tree "town"). If you have been there before then you know of the little cave towards the top of the tree, and inside that cave spans something like 10 crickets, each of them dropping AT LEAST 5 waste acid (at least in my experience). Bonus there are also crystal ore spots there if you need to stock up on that. This was the last thing that I actively server hopped for, and now it seems like I won't even have to worry about it anymore. Thank you TODDDDDD.

Hemlock Holes Maintenance also has three acid deposits you can place resource extractors on top of. Good way to passively collect them while you hunt down those cave crickets in Tanagra town!
