Hello,

I happily and shamelessly purchased a subscription to Fallout 1st when it was originally released in October 2019 (10/23/19). I was doing so monthly until February 2020 (2/26/20) when I decided to purchase the yearly subscription. Then in April 2020 the game released on Steam and Bethesda gave us the ability to switch our FO1st subscriptions to Steam. In order to do so you had to complete a support ticket agreeing to a handful of things concerning the effects of what cancelling your subscription would result in like loss of use of the tent and scrap box through the Bethesda launcher, etc... The transferring subscriptions mechanism required the purchase of the subscription directly from Steam which I did (4/18/20) and Bethesda gave us a code for 99% off.

All was well and good up until February 2021 (2/24/21) when I received a charge on my credit card account from Bethesda for my renewed FO1st Subscription. I found it odd and reached out to Bethesda Support through a support ticket. I got the canned response from Bethesda Support with a new code for 99% off my Steam purchase for FO1st. When I tried to use the code I got the error from Steam explaining that I already own the game and I can't repurchase it. Thinking if I waited until my Steam subscription expired I could then repurchase with the code provided I waited until April (4/18/21) to try the code again. Even with an expired FO1st Subscription on Steam the code gave the same error. I then responded to the support ticket and got the Ticket Closed As Duplicate error so I created a new support ticket.

In the new support ticket submitted 04/19/21 I referenced the original ticket and explained that I waited until my Steam subscription had expired and it still didn't let me use the code. The next day I got the "I am escalating your ticket to a specialized team to ensure you receive the best possible resolution of your issue." response.

I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM SINCE!

I followed up on the April, 22nd and on April 26th. On April 27th (the release of the latest patch and Season 4 of the Scoreboard) I decided to try one last thing with Steam so I clicked on the link to renew my FO1st Subscription. I had hoped it would put it in my cart and then I could use the code to receive the 99% discount. That didn’t work, it automatically changed my payment method for my renewal (now my 2nd yearly subscription for 2021). I followed up again with Bethesda support on April 30th asking for a refund to my payment method or the equivalent in Atoms applied to my account.

Can any of the Bethesda Community Managers please help me with this? I can provide support ticket numbers if needed.
