WHAT IS THE FROST WIND FESTIVAL?
Greetings Warriors, our frosty Limited-Time Seasonal Event is back!
Welcome to The Frost Wind Festival!
Earn exclusive rewards by playing PVP and PVAI matches. You can find unique loot including Effects, Ornaments, Weapons and Outfits and winter themed content for sale in the store*. There is also a Frost Wind Emblem Symbol in the Emblem Editor! These can only be obtained during the event, so don't miss out!
*Please note that some of our heroes were launched post-Frost Wind Festival and a few of them will not have retrofit content. All details of availability are listed below.
WHEN DOES THE FROST WIND FESTIVAL START AND END ON EACH PLATFORM?
The Frost Wind Festival will be live on all platforms from January 9th @ 14:00 UTC to January 16th @ 14:00 UTC. For any updates or changes to the schedule please refer to the Reddit sub-channel: https://www.reddit.com/r/ForHonor/.
WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE EVENT?
A 2V2 game mode will be available only during the event period: Ice Brawlers! Step onto a frozen lake and brawl it up! Just keep in mind that ice... breaks.
IS THERE ANY SPECIAL EVENT LOOT?
Players can loot unique cosmetic items at the end of matches and arcade quests.
These can only be looted during the event and will not be sold individually on the Game Store.
- Effect: Avalanche, lootable in 3 parts (Idle/Emote/Execution).*
- 5 different Color Swatches: Thin Ice, Black Ice, Sea Ice, Blood Snow and Frozen Forest that are only available from playing Ice Brawlers! and Arcade.
- Ornament: Frost Wind Crest.*
- Battle Outfit: Shattered Ice.*
*Please note that these items are only available for Standard and Year 1 Heroes.
This loot will be part of a special bundle that will be released on January 9th @ 14:00 UTC to January 16th @ 14:00 UTC. Please note that the bundles are only available for Standard and Year 1 Heroes.
Additionally, each of the Standard and Year 1 Heroes have 1 weapon set (with 3 parts) that can drop from matches and scavenger crates, but won't be available in the bundle. Please note that there is no event loot in Custom Matches and Duel vs AI.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE GAME STORE?
Each faction, except the Wu Lin, has a different Illustrious Outfit from the first Frost Wind Festival, which will be discounted at 13,000 Steel (instead of 20,000). Please note that all the content below is not lootable.
• Knight: Tundra Gryphon.
• Samurai: Northern Dragon.
• Viking: Iced Buffalo.
Because we also didn't want to leave our Wu Lin fighters out, we are also making a sale on the 2019 winter masks from 20,000 Steel to 15,000 Steel.
• Knight: Elegant Cygnus.
• Samurai: Choucho's Metamorphosis.
• Viking: Valhalla's Eikthyrnir.
• Wu Lin: Lonely Xuebao.
The Snowball Fight limited-time emote is back at a discounted price for all heroes and will be available for purchase from January 9th @ 14:00 UTC to January 16th @ 14:00 UTC for 7,000 Steel instead of 10,000 Steel.

Yes! Frost Wind Festival Bundles will be available from January 9th @ 14:00 UTC to January 16th @ 14:00 UTC at 35,000 Steel! Please note that the bundle is only available for Standard and Year 1 Heroes. Items being discounted can also decrease the price of the bundle.
The price is calculated dynamically: if you own content already listed in the package, the price will change.
