I had For Honor purchased on Steam. Unfortunately I lost access to that account, but I have the game itself normally in the Ubisoft library. Unfortunately, when I try to download it, my new Steam account that I linked to my account fires up and tells me to buy the game. Does anyone know how I can download For Honor normally via Uplay?

Regretfully, if you purchased your game originally through Steam, it won't be possible to download and play your game without access to this Steam account, I'm afraid.
In this case, I would recommend getting in touch with Steam support directly, in order to recover your account.
