[2020] Winter Event 2020

Greetings! I'm Isabella, welcome to Mistletown! How was your journey here? You took the Winter Express, right?

Dear Kings & Queens,

We hope you are prepared to face the cold as the Winter Event is back! This year, your Quest Giver Isabella will guide you through the snowy town of Mistletown! There are Reindeers, Mystery Presents, a new Grand Prize, and a Winter Calendar full of surprises waiting for you!

The Winter Event will run from October 6th to November 6th, 2020.​

Similar to last year's Winter Event, you will get the chance to unwrap amazing presents containing some pretty interesting rewards. Shuffle the stack of Mystery Presents and use 10 Stars to open one of them. Those Stars can be collected by completing the event questline, as well as special daily quests and in incidents hidden around your city. In addition, each time you open a Mystery Present, you will receive a Match Stick, which can be used to gain progress toward the Grand Prize! Use a Match Stick to light Candles inside 1, 2, or 3 town houses. Once all 20 houses are lit, the town's Winter Tree will light up and you'll obtain the Special Grand Prize!


That's not all! Each day a new Daily Special will be hidden among the Mystery Presents! When revealing a Daily Special, you will also find one of the 9 lost Reindeers! Once you have found your first Reindeer, it will reveal a hidden reward offer which can be claimed using diamonds! Help return all the reindeer to their sleigh. Collect 9 Reindeers to unlock more rewards and get yourself a better deal.


"Is that it?" you are going to ask... Well no, there is more! We indeed have another surprise for you! This year, we are introducing to you the wonderful Winter Calendar! 32 doors for you to open, with a reward behind each one of them! You can find 1 Key each day when unwrapping Presents, which opens the corresponding Door on the Calendar! New Doors will unlock each day of the Winter Event, so make sure to come back each day to find Keys. If you missed a day or didn't find the Key, you can also use Lock Picks which are found when opening presents!

You will need 10 of them to replace a Key and be able to open a door that you have missed. Please keep in mind that it's not possible to find two keys in the same day, which means that if you get a second one, it will be replaced by a Lock Pick! And guess what?! If all doors have been opened by the end of the event, you will gain a special reward!


Wait, can you smell this? This must be coming from the Winter Bakery, this year’s Grand Prize! This special 3x5 building can be upgraded to level 5. Once level 5 is reached, you will be able to choose among 4 different looks, with each one providing a particular advantage to your city. So, which ones are you going to go for? The Lussebullar Bakery, the Marzipan Bakery, the Macaron Bakery, or the Gingerbread Bakery? Choose it wisely!

	Lussebullar Bakery grants: Happiness, Coins, Population and +25% Supply Collection. +10 Goods, +5 Forge Points and Supplies when motivated +10 Goods when adjacent to two other highest level Winter Bakery buildings +5 if adjacent to one.		Macaron Bakery grants: Happiness, Coins, Population and +6 to 18% Defense Boost for Defending Army +5 Goods, +5 Forge Points and Supplies when motivated +18% Defense Boost for Attacking Army when adjacent to two other highest level Winter Bakery buildings +13% if adjacent to one.
	Marzipan Bakery grants: Happiness, Coins, Population and +20% Coin Collection +5 Goods, +6 Forge Points and Supplies when motivated +2 Forge Points when adjacent to two other highest level Winter Bakery buildings +1 if adjacent to one.		Gingerbread Bakery grants: Happiness, Coins, Population and +6 to 18% Attack Boost for Defending Army +5 Goods, +5 Forge Points and Supplies when motivated +15 Attack Boost for Attacking Army when adjacent to other unique Winter Bakery Set Buildings +10 if adjacent to one.

Last but not least, we have one more thing in our stack for you! As for every event, you will be able to get two new Avatars as a questline reward! Our third Avatar, Bianca, is a unique Avatar Reward that can only be obtained through the Reward Calendar.

We will make some changes today (16th October) as follows:

• Calendar Collection reward has been increased
• Calendar rewards behind some doors has been changed
• You can now get Lock picks each day from Daily Challenges
• And any day you have missed from old daily challenges we will give to players (Beta)
