| 15s | Today we will discuss a new Fellowship Eent |
| 17s | which you can already try on Beta right now. |

| 23s | Before we talk about the details of the fellowship event, |
| 26s | let's probe into the mind of our Game Designer here - Jess. |
| 29s | How did you become a Game Designer and |
| 31s | did you actually always wanted to be one? |
| 34s | Good question. |
| 35s | I think, for me, it's maybe a little bit |
| 38s | different from a lot of other game designers, |
| 41s | I didn't immediately know that I wanted to be a game designer. |
| 45s | It wasn't something that was overtly obvious to me as a carreer. |
| 50s | Especially being a female in the industry, |
| 51s | it's not something I was exposed to. |
| 54s | But after I did a degree and masters in computers |
| 59s | I started making my own games and doing game jobs, |
| 61s | networking, and from that basically |
| 64s | I got my first opportunity in gaming. |
| 68s | Oh yeah, that's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing! |
| 70s | How do you actually come up with the ideas |
| 73s | for all the new events? |
| 74s | Another great question. |
| 78s | So, for me and for the team, |
| 80s | ideas aren't specifically something that comes from game designers. |
| 84s | Ideas can come from anywhere. |
| 86s | So, it's a lot of research, a lot of sitting together |
| 90s | with the team and brainstorming ideas. |
| 93s | Mechanics, they can come from anywhere, really, |
| 95s | also just imagining different themes. |
| 97s | And yeah, from there we kind of pick out |
| 101s | the ones that feel natural to us as a team and |
| 104s | also would fit into the ecosystem of Forge. |
| 108s | ZockIt, one of Forge's content creators, asks: |
| 111s | Is this new event going to replace the Summer Event or |
| 114s | is this going to be an additional one? |
| 116s | Hi ZockIt and thanks for the question. |
| 119s | It's not going to replace summer, so you will still be able |
| 121s | to play the Summer Event. It's just an additional event. |
| 125s | What inspired the medieval setting for the event? |
| 128s | Well actually, you were there, |
| 131s | maybe you could give us an insight. |
| 133s | Yeah, so, basically, what we do for all of the events, |
| 137s | we do a brainstorming and we really look |
| 140s | for potential themes for the new events. |
| 142s | And this time around, it just clicked with everyone. |
| 147s | The medieval setting appealed to everyone in the room. |
| 151s | And we didn't have an event with a medieval setting yet, |
| 154s | So yeah. |
| 155s | This was the one that everybody was most excited about. |
| 159s | Yeah, couldn't have said it better. |
| 162s | What can you tell us about the Grand Prize Building, |
| 164s | The Heroes Tavern? |
| 166s | Ah, yeah, so it's called The Heroes Tavern, |
| 168s | Thanks Alex. |
| 168s | And it's a beautiful medieval tavern, |
| 172s | and yeah, it's supposed to be in theme with |
| 176s | the event itself. |
| 177s | So it's a place for heroes to rest before a weary journey. |
| 184s | It has a really cool feature where when you level |
| 187s | it to its max level you get an Inhabitant that |
| 191s | will walk around your city. |
| 192s | And it's a knight on a steed. It's very cool. |
| 196s | And it provides also, attack boosts, |
| 201s | so I know all players out there love that, |
| 204s | so hopefully, you will enjoy that. |
| 205s | And it also gives a lot of Forge points. |
| 208s | Yeah, I really think the players are going |
| 210s | to like when it goes live. |
