0s | The Time Portal has swung open, and you have been |
---|---|
3s | granted a unique opportunity to meet the famous historical figures! Well, somewhat… |
9s | We are introducing our new History Event — a fantastical place where Marie Curie |
15s | and Leonardo Da Vinci meet to prove their skills in engaging Card duels! |
20s | Albert Einstein is about to invite you for the first quests of the Event, but before that, |
25s | make sure to subscribe to this channel to never miss any news about your favorite game! |
35s | Your ultimate goal in the History Event is to enter Card battles with multiple enemies |
40s | and defeat them. |
42s | For that, you will be handsomely rewarded |
44s | with items, more Cards, and Grand Prize progress points. |
49s | At the end of the battle, you will face the final Boss, and that encounter will either shower you |
54s | with gifts or take you out of the battle. Join Albert Einstein in his questline to |
60s | collect Battle Coins — one of the two main Event currencies needed to play the Card duels and top |
66s | up your Health and draw Cards. But more on that later! |
70s | To begin your Card game, you must spend a Ticket – the second of the two currencies. |
76s | Tickets are generated over time or can be purchased with Diamonds. |
81s | Before you start a battle, you need to choose the difficulty — easy, medium or hard. |
87s | The choice is up to you but remember, the higher the difficulty, the better the rewards! |
93s | Your heroes stand on the left side, |
95s | and the enemy’s heroes stand on the right side of the battle window. |
99s | The goal is to defeat all enemy heroes before you run out of Cards |
102s | in your deck or lose all your Health. While your Health is for the whole |
107s | duration of the battle, the enemy Health bar represents the vitality of every given enemy. |
113s | Before you press “Fight”, check YOUR and your |
116s | enemy’s attack ranges and keep an eye on your Health level. |
119s | If your enemy is sure to deal enough damage to take you out of the battle, the Health |
124s | bar will flash. This is the right moment to use your Battle Coins to top up your Health level! |
131s | Factions are also very important to consider. All heroes are divided into four factions: |
137s | Champions, Commanders, Geniuses, and Manipulators. |
142s | Every Faction, except for the Manipulators, has an advantage or a disadvantage against another. |
149s | Think of it as rock-paper-scissors. When your attack values are boosted |
153s | by your Card’s Faction, you will see a green plus sign on the Card, |
158s | and that Card will deal additional damage to the enemy. When you are at a disadvantage, |
164s | you will see a red minus sign, and that Card will TAKE additional damage FROM the enemy. |
169s | If you find yourself at a disadvantage, consider using your Battle Coins to redraw your current Card. |
176s | Once you press Redraw, you will be presented with three cards from your remaining deck! |
181s | Press Choose to settle on a Card or press Redraw again to shuffle your deck and get |
187s | another three Cards. Note that the more you Redraw without selecting a Card, |
192s | the higher will be the price of the next Redraw. |
195s | Remember: the Card you used in the duel will disappear from your deck. So make sure to |
201s | keep an eye on them and make sure you have enough Cards to make it to the Boss battle. |
206s | Also, remember that the enemy attacks first, |
209s | so you will not be able to collect your rewards from the encounter if you lose. |
214s | Luckily, there’s a way to significantly boost your chances of winning – the Ability Cards! |
221s | Every once in a while, you will encounter an enemy who will drop an Ability Card once defeated. |
227s | You will recognize such an enemy by this symbol. |
231s | Once the enemy is defeated, the Card shop will open. You can take one Ability Card |
237s | for free as a reward and purchase more for Battle Coins to really get an edge. |
243s | You will also notice this symbol in the Event window. It represents the Negotiation |
249s | Power – a special indicator that boosts your chances to get offered rare Ability |
255s | Cards in the shop. Those Cards can decide the outcome of any battle, even the Boss fight, |
261s | so earn yourself some Negotiation Power. You can get it from the Event’s Prize |
266s | lanes. The Negotiation Power is permanent so if you play actively, |
272s | by the end of the Event you will be more likely to score powerful Ability Cards. |
278s | Now, let us introduce some of the iconic inventions coming in this year’s History |
283s | Event! The main attraction is the Ascendant Grove Sanctuary - an evolving building that can be taken |
290s | all the way to level 7 using Upgrade Kits to be found in Grand Prizes and Quest Milestones. |
297s | Unlock the Premium Lanes for Silver and Golden Upgrade Kits to receive the Surging and Apex Grove |
304s | Sanctuary, respectively. The building provides bonuses for Attacking and Defending armies, |
311s | various resources, Forge Points packages and selection kits for small special buildings. |
318s | By defeating enemies in the game you can get our new upgradable 1 by 1 building: the Mortar |
324s | Garrison. You can bring it to level 2 and take it even further to Sterling Garrison with the help of |
331s | a Silver Upgrade Kit and to the Bullion Garrison with the Golden Upgrade Kit. But there’s more. |
338s | Find the Bastion Gatehouse and Silk Weaver’s Emporium as single Grand Prizes or in various |
345s | selection kits throughout the event. These buildings provide powerful effects for your city, |
351s | but be aware, they come at the price of a Population reduction. |
356s | Doesn’t every genius require time and space to ponder new ideas and inventions? Build a |
362s | Lilac Garden, where Marco Polo can take a peaceful break in the shade, |
367s | or set up the Ethereal Fountain as a majestic spot for Queen Elizabeth I to relax in style. |
373s | Collect other Grand Prizes such as Negotiation Power, additional |
378s | Battle Tickets, goods and brand-new Portraits. If you have participated in our Fellowship Events, |
385s | you may recognize some of the returning pieces available in the Epic History 2024 Selection Kit! |
392s | That, together with an abundance of rewards, |
395s | including the Woodland Wager Retreat can be won among the Leagues of this event. |
