[2023] Unable to add vBucks gift card to cabined account

My son plays fortnite and his account is a Cabined account since he is only 11. I do not have an Epic Games account. He received a vBucks gift card for Christmas. I have found no way to add the vBucks gift card to his account. He does not have an Epic Games Account, only a nameless account. So, I created an Epic Games account, but cannot find anyway to link his account to mine and there doesn't seem to be much information on the subject since Cabined accounts are so new. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hopefully, that helps you out. Since your son is in a Cabined state, as the FAQ says

To refill balances and make purchases, ask your parent or guardian to complete the account setup process, which they can do by clicking on the link sent to them in an email titled “Your Child Created an Epic Games Account”.

You might need to get that set up first. If you do have any issues please reach out to our Player support team to get you settled up.
