It is rumored that Switch will be getting 60 FPS. If that happens, they will be even with console players because console is maxed out at 60 FPS and play with controller. I still believe it is the worst decision epic has ever made by putting switch in mobile lobbies for a few reasons. 1. Lil Timmy can play with a pro controller (an actual controller just like xbox and ps4). 2. Lil Jimmy can hook up his switch to his desktop monitor or his 60 inch tv screen. 3. By the amount of switch players I've seen in team rumble and normal modes, there are enough players to have their own lobbies. Almost every game I've come in second in, I lost to a switch player. I know switch in console lobbies isn't the most fair thing in the world, but it is much more fair for players with different frame counts to go against each other than for touchscreen and controller to play against each other. In pc lobbies, some players have a laptop that they can only play 10 FPS on, while they are going against some with a pc running 200 FPS, and that is still considered fair. If switch is not taken out of mobile we need to stay strong and boycott Fortnite mobile until this is resolved. Thanks for reading me ramble on about this matter, I just think its not fair for the mobile community.

We have no plans to add 60FPS to the Switch version of the game, not sure where you heard this rumor from. We also have no plans to change how matchmaking works at this time.

Devices set to low are due to performance reasons. If in ios 13 we can push for higher level of graphics while maintaining stability we will do so.
