Specifically, we wanted to be clear in the factors that determined how the players for this invite-only skirmish were chosen.

This wasn't clear in the Summer or Fall skirmish, so rather than leave any doubts we selected based on performances from open competitions.

But that wasn’t made clear... I’m not saying I would be good enough to qualify by any means, but it would be nice if in the competitive philosophy posted that was CLEARLY stated.

Believe me we get it. Any time we've held an invite-only competition we understand the desire to have an opportunity to compete for those not invited.

We've done quite a bit to start off the year with some providing more competition globally. ggCircuit was a $25k global event open with gaming centers which we funded prize pools. Australia Open has a $500k competition which we're supplying the prize pool though its organized by ESL and AO. Likewise with the $500k IEM Katowice in Europe which we've partnered with ESL to have out there.

Our desire is to iron out the kinks prior to the Fortnite World Cup and continue to iterate on the tournament system for more Winter Royale style tournaments. Getting reps on live production rehearsals is crucial :)
