0s | What is up Fortnite fam, look- the global championships are creeping up on us. |
---|---|
5s | They’re just around the corner, and if you ain't been paying attention, |
9s | the EU region has the most players competing of any of the other regions. |
14s | So who better than myself and Miniminer to give you the rundown |
17s | of what is going to be an EU packed weekend. |
20s | Well Leven, there are 26 EU teams that will be appearing at the FNCS |
25s | Global Championships. |
26s | Let's talk about just some of those teams |
28s | and why they have what it takes to lift that trophy. |
32s | Tayson & Merstach have led the way this year, being the first team in Europe |
35s | to qualify for the Global Championships, and they haven't let up |
38s | since that first place finish in Major 1 at the start of this year. |
42s | The combination of Tayson’s GOAT status IGL-ing, and Merstach’s |
45s | world class fragging is one everyone in the lobby should fear. |
50s | Th0masHD and Malibuca are the best duo to have never done it. |
53s | With both players being regarded as two of the most talented on the region. |
57s | It's a surprise that they’re yet to win an FNCS. |
59s | Now though in front of a home crowd, What better time for Thomas |
64s | to make it his first? |
67s | Queasy and |
67s | Veno reached the highest of highs any duo has ever reached in FNCS history |
72s | after their legendary Major 2 grand finals win. |
75s | They have spent the majority of this year being considered |
78s | the best duo in the world, |
79s | and they will be looking to make the Globals their crowning moment. |
83s | The FNCS Invitational champions, Kami and Setty, are here |
87s | and looking to again make their mark on this LAN competition, |
91s | no matter the meta, These two have always got something genius up their sleeve |
95s | and I can't wait to see what they cook up for Globals. |
99s | Vanyak3k and Karmy are big game |
101s | players, and they showed that when they qualified in major 2 |
105s | and with the Global Championships here be on the lookout for these guys |
109s | because at any moment an electric clutch performance is on the way. |
114s | Qualifying through Major 2 was Gripey and Flickzy. |
117s | The Germans are two of Europe's biggest grinders |
119s | and will definitely put in the work to make it to the top. |
122s | For them, consistent games will make the difference at Globals. |
125s | Idrop and Mappi shocked the world |
128s | and the region with their performances to qualify during Major 2, |
131s | and they'll be ready to do it again come championship Sunday. |
134s | The battle for height is always more fun with these guys in the lobby. |
139s | Pinq and Vico are one of the most interesting duos |
141s | in the region and are a personal favorite of mine as well. |
145s | And coming into globals they are a very rare example of a team where both players |
149s | have actually experienced winning major LAN events in the past. |
153s | They'll be looking to take that experience and turn it into win in Copenhagen. |
158s | Two names that are a staple of the European region are Snayzy and Podasai. |
161s | With Snayzy |
163s | having played at the World Cup solo finals, he'll be looking to use |
166s | all of that LAN experience alongside Podasai to help get France back on top. |
171s | It wouldn't be a Fortnite LAN without MrSavage, now, would it? |
175s | Paired up with Vadeal, This duo has always had a huge amount of hype |
178s | from their Many fans around the world. |
180s | Just missing out on qualifying through Major 3, but dominating |
184s | the Last Chance Major shows that this duo has the resilience to make |
188s | it all the way. |
190s | Jannisz and Rezon are a duo |
191s | with ample experience and FNCS winning pedigree under their belts. |
195s | Despite that, they had to battle their way through the Last Chance Major |
198s | to make it to the Global Championships. |
200s | This duo started the year off incredibly strongly in Major 1, |
204s | so let's see if they can rekindle that same success at Globals. |
209s | The double Danish duo of Stenno and Liwshe |
211s | will be looking to make their dream a reality on home turf. |
215s | This duo came together |
216s | in Chapter two, Season six and have been nearly inseparable since. |
219s | With the support from the home fans |
221s | and the trust in each other so ingrained in their history, |
224s | this will be a magical storyline if all goes well for them. |
228s | Now that was a lot of teams and that was just a taste of what's to come at Globals. |
232s | There are still plenty of teams that we didn't mention |
235s | that are also looking incredibly strong. |
237s | Now Leven, I need to ask you, do you think EU can go back to back? |
241s | Come on, Miniminer, You already know my answer to that. |
244s | But for the lovely people watching, |
246s | if you want to find out whether or not EU can do it, |
249s | you gotta watch the Global Championships. |
251s | October 13th through to 15th, See you there. |
