[2021] I’m desperate for any help. Please read at least. My account has been compromised and I can’t get in contact with Epic.

I’ve made another post regarding this, but only NecroKitty has helped me/seen it and I’m desperate for help. It might be a long read but I’m at least asking you to read it and maybe upvote it so others can see and can help me.

So I opened fortnite on my PlayStation and it said to link my epic games account. So I was like, huh that’s weird. So I logged into my epic games using my PlayStation sign in and found out that the email and display name have changed. So somebody has infiltrated my account. I can’t change the email back because it says I can’t change it until May 14th for some reason. I tried to change the password and can’t because they must’ve changed the password considering they got into my account. The only reason I’m able to sign in still is because of my PlayStation account.

My username was LoganJ101010 but they changed it and added a period at the end, which made it LoganJ101010. So I didn’t know this and hit forgot password with the account with no period, basically creating a new account or something. I don’t understand how that works or what not but I’m so confused about that. I can’t change the display name until the 27th. So can I change it back and get my account back? Is that even possible?

And I’ve sent epic 3 help request forms to which I’ve gotten no replies yet, when it’s been well over 5 hours. Not to mention I had two factor authentication enabled, so how could’ve they got past that anyway?? I don’t understand how a billion dollar company is so hard to contact when things like this can happen. I’m basically just sending them an email. They don’t let you call, they don’t have a live chat, nothing.

So I don’t know what to do. I’m still able to get into my account and I’m in it right now because of PlayStation sign in, but I’ve played this game for many years and have so many things Chapter 1 Season 4 and up and don’t wish to lose it all due to some low life having to hack others accounts. This game is special to me and I would hate to lose it all because since they’re in my account, they can terminate it or unlink the ps4 account. I’ve turned 2FA back on and put my phone number even though that’s probably useless but you know.

I really just don’t know what to do. I’m kind of freaking out, I know that might seem dumb and overreactive I don’t know. But I want to know if anybody else has had this happen to them. Will epic contact me back in time? Isn’t there epic people on this Reddit that I can contact or that can see this?

Any info is recommended please. I’m begging
