Anyone else think this set of Nindo challenges are a bit excessive? Like excessively excessive? Cuz I sure do
To get the Glider attached to these challenges you need to complete all 4 paths which requires you to complete each paths challenge 9 times to get each of the badges required to complete the path
The total requirements are;
45 top 6 placements in Squads only.
216 storm circles survived in Zero builds modes only
180 fish caught in any build or Zero builds mode
162 eliminations in Solos, Duos and Trios modes only
Each challenge suffers from its own set of issues, but the main one is that not all challenges have the same modes to progress in (Only one with the ability to progress in all modes is the Hinata path: fishing). These should be changed to be universal, so all challenges can be completed in all modes available. (Also enabling team based LTMs like Solid gold Squads to give progress to appropriate challenges would be great too!).
The Itachi path(placements) suffers from a general issue on how top x placement challenges for team modes work in general. A top 6 placement can range from 24 players left to 6 players left. However, solo players for some reason also count towards that squad counter. So you can have 22 players left but still only be Top 12. The challenge requirement should be changed to simply be reach Top 24 in any mode, that way zero build players can actually progress in the mode they like
The Gaara Path(zones survived) suffers from just pure quantity required. An average good fortnite match will last about 8 zones, to get 1 point in the challenge you basically need to play 3 entire matches where you survive 8 zones each. And thats all in Zero builds modes exclusively. This challenge needs to be changed to have lower requirements. At least 12 would be a fair amount as 24 is too excessive and 8 is too low.
Hinatas Path is actually the only challenge I don't have a problem with. 180 fish seems a bit much but you can easily just spend a couple of games racking up storm circle survivals and fish together.
Orochimarus Path admittedly isn't as bad as the others. But the fact its not able to be progressed in both squads modes and the zero builds mode entirely is hindering it desperately. 162 elims is OK in the long run when you're able to progress those when doing other challenges.
I know this post is desperately long but I needed to get my opinion out there. These challenges are way too much for just being rewarded basically the same as we got last time ( a few emoticons and a glider) the introduction of a wrap reward isn't worth the even steeper challenge requirements.
