[2021] Do you have to change your region to attend the first Rift Tour from Non-US?

There's so much confusion about this on twitter and youtube and I don't know myself. You didn't have to change your region for other events afaik, but many people are claiming you will have to in order to attend the first event which is labelled "america" if you're not from the US / from Europe etc. Can someone clarify please?

You don't need to switch your region and you can attend any of the shows. The regions mentioned with each show are there to designate optimal times for specific areas of the globe.
