Hey LoicDoesNotCare,

This has been a topic I have seen you post about and wanted to give you an update. Apple has allowed developers to file for an extension to continue to use the our previous SDK. The information can be found here: https://developer.apple.com/ios/submit/ under the Understand changes in memory accounting section. When we have anymore information to share I'll be sure to everyone know.

I appreciate the update. Quick follow up though, are you guys requesting the entitlement to keep using the iOS 11 style of memory accounting before releasing the new SDK in the meantime or just plan on keeping the previous one for an indeterminate amount of time ? Some kind of time frame (doesn’t have to be a specific date) would be cool too if you can provide one.

I do not have a time frame but what I can say is that testing is ongoing with Xcode 10 and the new SDK. Once we have fully tested and implemented the required changes from Apple we will be submitting with the new SDK.

I do not have the technical details at the moment but if I do get the information I will be sure to share.
