We just released the v8.40.1 client update to resolve some issues that appeared in the v8.40 update.

Hey there! Some fixes came in late last night for decreased FPS later in matches as well as a fix for too much memory being used while playing on PC.
Sorry, these got missed in the v8.40.1 Resolved Issues blog, they have since been added in there.
If you're still experiencing decreased performance after today's client update, please create a bug report in-game with the title "v8.40.1 Performance Issues".
