[2019] Epic account linking to XBL issues

Hi,

I used to play on PC but now I have to play on xbox.

I haven't played in ages and I tried linking my xbox account to my old epic account with all my skins and stuff on and I saw that some random gamertag was already linked to my account and someone had been gifting his own account using my account, all 3 of my refunds have been taken up also.

However, that isn't the issue, the issue is that I cannot now link my XBL account to my old epic account to access all of my stuff on xbox.

I have spoken to Epic and they aren't even interested at all, almost seems like they invite people to hack people and sell accounts and so on.

Any advice if not I am just going to delete my epic account and be done with it.

Absolute joke.
