Avid gamer here (28m if it matters to some) and just got into Fortnite due to my 11 year old son's science project on how video games can affect hand-eye coordination.
A little backstory, my 9 year old son has been playing Fortnite every chance we let him play on the Switch or Xbox since around season 3. I've always known what Fortnite is or was and tried it when it first came out but couldnt dedicate the time to learn something new. The negativity around the game to me was really silly and I just never understood it. It was also crazy cool to see Ninja become so popular over it after watching him grow through the Halo games, especially Reach.
In our household we have 2 Switches 2 Xbox Ones and a Ps4. Recently I was able to get them all set up to where my two sons, my wife and myself can all play squads and i have to say it's been the most fun I've had playing games in a long time. We have 7 Victory Royales in Squads and nothing has brought a bigger smile to my face in recent memory than hearing my family cheer like crazy and wanna hop back in. We've found something to bond over and do as a family and I just wanted to get on here and post just how special that can be.
