Hey /u/HayleyDeSchepper, we'd like to get logs from you to investigate this issue further. When you or your friend next encounter this (or if you haven't relaunched Fortnite since it happened), can you please:
Close your Fortnite client
Navigate to C:\Users\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Logs
Grab the FortniteGame.txt file that is there (It will be time stamped from when you closed your game)
Share it via google drive / dropbox / etc
