[2023] Nope. Still a Nope.

I have not logged onto Fortnite since mid January, the game was in such a bad state in every way possible. The bugs, the glitches, the lag, the inconsistency, the dumbass Content additions, the pulling Content, the adding Content back, the changing things nobody asked for, that just created Additional hardship for the user. I have played Fortnite every single day, many, MANY times a day, for two years, regular before that, but very consistent for the last two years. I loved it, great game. rarely did you face a cheater in your lobby, most times the skill based matchmaking was on point, and while looking back there were gripes, comparatively, it was golden. Since the start of this new chapter, it has been an absolute sh*t show. I’m sorry, but the game sucks in every way. I tried to like it, I tried to push through, and give epic some grace and jump on the bandwagon of “oh they were on vacation” “they were out of the office” that’s why these glitches weren’t fixed…that’s why these bugs aren’t gone etc. etc. etc. however, nothing got fixed (even when they’re back) most things got worse and to top it off, you did run into cheaters in almost every lobby. So, I put it down, I quit playing. Not only did I quit playing my son quit playing, his friends, quit playing, other people I know, quit playing, I noticed content creators, viewership going down and I got away from it for a while. Hoping, hoping that they would fix it, hoping that we could have an enjoyable game again but after getting back on tonight, I’m shocked. Stutters more than ever laggier than ever, it really surprised me. There’s a litany of issues and questionable decisions made in this chapter that I don’t have to detail, if you play the game, you know. I really thought that after all this time things would’ve been fixed and I’m shocked that they’re not….It sucks because I love the game, I really love the game. I’m not a gamer. I don’t play other games, but I love Fortnite, everyone liked fortnite, my kid liked fortnite, his friends liked fortnite, some my friends liked fortnite. Now, that’s waning, and not because it’s cyclical, not because people are growing up or etc.. It’s waning because the game sucks. I was just super frustrated, had to vent, honestly I was just shocked that it was still so messy.
