We only saw a little snippet of gameplay and it already was fully packed of fan service.
We'll get way better animations. Way way better as it seems. Stuff like cover system have been highly improved. We get a whole new layer of tactics added through new features like classes, approach options (fence cutting, use of environments) injury system and more. Customisation got a significant boost. We will get a higher focus on story with dialogue options. I've seen RPGs, bipods, lasers on the top rail, tactical reloading.
What could RPG elements mean? I'd imagine they mean dialogue, classes and tiered weapons. Tiered weapons could mean a lot. Maybe a higher tear weapon has more customisation options? Maybe a lower tier weapon will be a dirty AK47 and a higher tier weapon will be a brand new AK500 coming right from production.
We will get endgame. We can look forward to meaningful content after release, not forced sh*t like in Wildlands. We will have PvP right from the start.
We lost our AI squad, which was dumb af anyway. I can live without them, maybe we get some banter and stuff over comms. Always online is something they can easily change. Offline support could be added as a separate save or something like that.
There will be hell of a lot of cool stuff. Dont only focus on the few bad things. I personally cannot wait for October 4. I will rock Auroa solo and in a squad. I hate to admit it, but I am hyped. And I love looking forward to new games :)
