If he created his account through the official Guild Wars 2 website, he cannot log in to it through Steam. He would need to continue playing on his account using the launcher downloaded from the Guild Wars 2 website if he did not want to start anew.

@szymenValo Hi there! All Guild Wars 2 players can play together on the same servers regardless of the client used. However, do note that NA and EU servers are separate.
@neth3rwing Hey! Steam players can link their Steam GW2 accounts to Twitch starting at 12PST. "Log in with Steam" just hasn't been enabled on the GW2 account page yet.

@Pocketsneak79 Guild Wars 2 is playable on the Steam Deck but is not officially supported. You will likely need an external gamepad profile to make it work.
@GuiltyTroll After you claim each drop, the timer starts again for the following one. So 30 minutes for the Heroic Booster, then 30 minutes for Revive Orb, etc.

A quick update:
Participants in our 10th Anniversary Twitch Drops event are intended to receive 2 Heroic Boosters after watching an eligible Guild Wars 2 Twitch livestream for 30 minutes. Due to a bug players are only receiving a single Heroic Booster.
To address this, after the Twitch Drops event has concluded we’ll be sending any player that completed the Heroic Booster watch time requirement two additional boosters via in-game mail for a total of three boosters.

@Dr_HR Did you claim the drops in the Twitch inventory? If you already did, it may take some time for the item to be emailed to your account (assuming you're looking at the Guild Wars 2 account you linked in Twitch).
