[2020] OMG the gw2audio - I have been playing only 50% of this game!

I think I may had a bug with the audio but:

I NEVER knew how awesome the audio in GW2 is!!
I wasn't playing in a looong long time and after I came back I turned off the music and most audio-bars down so that I could hear the skills and dialogue better. I turned down the surroundings so that I could still phone my gf/listen to music.

Yesterday I activated the music and boosted the bars on area sound etc. and it feels like a whole new game!
I don't remember gw2 having such an awesome sound.

I was in AB doing some events at westwatch and I could hear a champion from miles away saying some dark stuff about how we are all going to die blabla and it all felt so much more authentic and alive.

I feel like I have to replay the whole 600 hours I have on the clock because I feel like I missed out xD

Turn up that volume Agents!!

The thing that I feel has changed is the sound effect on Epidemic... I remember it having that special sound of "despair" when casting it.
I don't hear that anymore... did they change that?? (I took a break a few years ago)
