Seriously ANET...Ive tried to get a thorn wall event to fail 8 times today and someone always comes and kills the NPCS. I swore you would have learned your lesson after precursor collections.
For clarification....for the Gandaran Service Medal collection you need to regrow a thorn wall by letting the initial event to defend one fail.

Unfortunately that is not what he is talking about. OP is likely referring to the Naturalist’s Crest part of The Gandaran Service Medal achievement. It requires for the Thorn Event to have failed before you can "Regrow" the Vine wall.
