I was out in Gendarran fields taking a screenshot of the Lion's Arch entry way as it looks now and noticed this. At first I thought it couldn't possibly be what it looked like, and must be a ribbon or a flag.
I want to take a screenshot next week from the exact same position so I logged another character to take a closer look and sure enough, I was right the first time. I hope he/she will be ok when Scarlet comes.
I figure like most, I don't spend that much time looking at scenery, and the fact that I play on a toaster doesn't help, but even so I thought it was cool that I never saw this, either in-game or mentioned elsewhere, in the 1.5 years I've been playing. Little details are cool.
