[2022] Spirit Shard Farming

Spirit shards are a rarer resource that generally involves getting them while you do other things. They are also the progression beyond masteries as you get them after them and generally want your xp to go towards masteries first anyway. That said, they are highly useful and you will need a lot of them when you actually need them or want to make gold off of them, which is the position I assume you are in.

Definitely ensure you have all of your buffs on and generally towards experience/ss acquisition :
10% guild experience boost on every character
20%/etc for your enrichment (Upgrading your amulet to ascended first on each character is ideal for this reason)
25% rest buff with EoD and Arborstone masteries, definitely max this as fast as possible and log characters off in Arborstone
On your farmers, I like as a separate character so I can keep buffs up that only tick while I'm actually farming/playing. Use your experience boost, birthday boost, wintersday/Zhaitaffy boosts, etc here. Using them wisely can easily get you tons more ss just naturally over time that you wouldn't have had.
