Are you receiving the code via text msg? If so, it can be easy to confuse the verification code (5 digits) with the phone number the code is sent from (6 digits).

Hi there,
Been years since I used SMS to authenticate. I'm using the Google 2FA app for codes. For some reason I could only input 5 digits on the website using the office computer but it's fine when I got back home to use my home computer. Still not sure what caused the issue.
I see. Glad you got it sorted :)

Some follow up! This was indeed a bug with 2FA using an authenticator - occasionally the field would only allow 5 chars.
The fix is now live. Thanks for reporting this issue, and sorry it took a bit to track down, even if you were able to get past it on your own.
