Hi all,

For years I've used the wiki for GW and GW2. Any rpg open-world game I play like these, I often find myself looking for a similar database. When there isnt one (or a well-developed wiki), I have an interest in helping the community in this regard.

Aside from formatting, grammar, and general guidelines that one can read up on via "How to Help", etc., what are some tips you have for people who want to contribute? See below for specific questions and things I've been doing. If there are things that could be done better, please let me know!

1) eg if a new map is released, should I have a laptop beside my PC to make edits along the way? Should I record footage and come back to it later? For stuff like, NPCs and resource nodes(in this map). 2) re filling out in-game descriptions, is the most effective way manually typing out each description for each item? 3) re quests, q. logs, and walkthroughs... adding Dialogue to the wiki? 4) anything else?

Thanks.

Just in case you missed them, I wanted to share 2 links that are on the left navigation bar and are particularly useful for new editors:

- General help: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Help:Contents

- How to help: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:How_to_help

Last but not least, the Wiki discord could provide some additional help: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:Discord

Thanks for considering helping the wiki!
