Hello dear fellows !
I'm just here for one of these posts that some users usually avoid to read ... The kind of post where a player, huge GW2 fan, say Thank you everybody. thank you Tyria. Thank you birds and flowers, shiny rivers, sunny grass and fluffy clouds ! Thank you community to be so kind ! I'm sarcastic, but I'm guilty, I wrote this kind of message here before.
And unfortunately for you today, I'm writing a new one. For and on behalf of 8 guildies and me :
Since Carry the Creator has been added to the game, I was wondering if I should look actively for an Anet employee to play with or if I should just wait and wish for luck ... a lot of luck. I did nothing to find somebody to achieve this. I finally just decided to wait. I've met some devs in open world, but didn't want to annoy them with any demand... Open world is not raid and I believed that if a dev is in open world, that doesn't mean he/she wants to raid. So I've never done the first step in this kind of moment.
Last week, my squad was waiting a late guildie. Just like every Tuesday. Never on time. But we are used to this. And while we were joking about it on Discord ... This happened, a Voice in the Void ( u/Jonanet ) just spawned in front of us ... I can't say who summoned him, but I didn't let him breath and asked him the question like 3 seconds after he appeared.
He agreed to carry us to be carried against Cairn the Indomitable.
We showed him our skills with the worst fight we ever did against the Jade Construct boss ...Our second attempt was the good one, thanks to his very wise advice, as shown on the 2nd picture.
Well, that's all folks. I've found that he sometimes comes here in this GW2 community's sub, so me and my friends wanted to say a last proper Thank You for the fun we had.
I've never laugh that much while fighting a raid boss.
Edit : I'll add that this was the evening for us (around 9'00 PM) but we stole him 10 minutes of his lunch time ! He deserves this Thank you. (-:
Edit 2: I've just seen the Silver. Thank you kind stranger. (-:
