[2020] First Time To (Spoiler) Since GW1 and man, the feels.

Hello All!

I wanted to just take a minute and share an experience with you. This post will have some Spoilers in it, so beware. It will also include feelings and opinions that are just that, opinions. Anyway, onward!

So i've been on a bit of a GW2 vacation because I had a newborn just when the living story 1 for PoF come out. Last night was my first time back to Istan.

Now, a little background on me before i go further. I have always loved Egyptian and Mesopotamian history, I have some cool artifacts and I really enjoyed my time in Elona in GW1. When I saw PoF was being released, I lost my mind and have spent so much time just walking around, seeing the sights and getting my outfits (fasionwars) perfect.

Necro has been my main since launch, but since it isnt wanted in a lot of group content, i stopped playing for a bit. I decided to do all the story all over again with a fresh mesmer. and made it to Istan for the first time last night since GW1. I was honestly speechless. Seeing The Astralarium again, and then this Dervish came after me, and i let it just hit me for a minute so i could look in wonder at the long lost class I used to play. That's when i noticed the costume in the gem store for the Dervish outfit. I'll post pictures tonight when I get home. There is a lot of nostalgia in this game for me, and I really appreciate the detail the Devs have put into the content, especially Elona. Does anyone else have similar experiences?
