I was thinking about retiring from video games, as it's becoming more and more like a young mans sport. I'm almost 30 now so can't keep up with the young whipper snappers and all these high paced Battle Royale games.

I'm a firm believer that a video game should DEstress you rather than stress you out. And for me that's exactly what Guild Wars 2 does. It is so easy going, simple and relaxing that I can play for 1-2 hours every day and come away feeling like my time was spent well.

It's not the best MMO ever, nor is it life changing in it's mechanics, but compared to everything else on the market right now it's the best at what it does. I am so happy the playerbase is still strong as I didn't like the game at first.

Cheers!

Asheron's Call was my first MMO! I used to hang out in Eastham after Arwic became "Charwic." I spent most of my time learning every spell in the game (I was obsessed) and handing out my book to Allegiance monarchs trying to convince the server not to destroy the The Great Work/Nexus Crystal. Clearly, I should have been on Thistledown and not Morningthaw. ;)
