What. A. Journey. Whew! Yes, 'launch is only the beginning' - and this isn't even the real launch, we've got that still to come - but what an awesome moment for the team and for the Halo community! It's really hard to grasp just how tough this has been and the incredible work the team did during some ridiculously challenging times. So much respect for every single person who poured their hearts and souls into this because they, like you, just want to make the best Halo experiences possible.

I knew it would be darn near impossible to pull this off - and folks were very, very good at sniffing things out and putting pieces together. While some of it was definitely true, clearly, there were also parts that were 100% false (i.e. there was never a 'huge bug and the whole team was called in to address it', was never a campaign demo for today, etc..).

Not gonna lie this is still surreal and hard to really comprehend. This has been such a long time coming. And, while we may yet still have some bumps ahead, this team has built an incredible foundation that we will continue to build and improve upon in the weeks and months ahead.

Thank you r/Halo fam - I know this community doesn't always see to eye, the passion we share for Halo manifests in different ways - but for just this one day, on his momentous occasion of 20th years and a surprise launch - it's glorious to see overwhelming, unified joy. And despite having a lot of things to still get to, please know that everyone who has given feedback for years and participated in preview flights - this is your moment, too. You have absolutely helped inspire and contribute to Infinite being the best it can be.
See you online!
