i'm guessing you cancelled the update to try it again which is what is causing this. this is an Xbox thing to prevent corrupted installs and is by design.

Yep, I learned this the hard way when I uninstalled Master Chief Collection after a glitched update wouldn't download. It was 128 GB I believe. Took...a while.
first time i installed MCC it took me 7+ days and another 2 for the day one patch
