The latest Halo Infinite in-game event is now live, this time around it's "The Yappening".
What is The Yappening?
The Yappening is the name of the latest free event in Halo Infinite.
Throughout the duration on The Yappening, players will have access to a new 10 Tier Event Pass, which can be progressed by completing specially marked Event Challenges. Similar to previous limited-time events, you will only need to complete 10 Event Challenges to finish the Event Pass.
When does The Yappening begin, and how long does it run for?
- Starts: September 6th @ 11AM PT
- Ends: September 20th @ 11AM PT
Please make sure to knock out any Event Challenges before the last possible second. Previous events have ended slightly earlier than 11AM PT, resulting in players missing out on some unlocks.
There are some new game modes with The Yappening. Tell me about them, now!!!
The Yappening's main offerings are in a single new playlist. You can play the following modes in there:
- BTB Fiesta CTF
- BTB Fiesta Slayer
- BTB Fiesta Stockpile
- BTB Fiesta Total Control
- BTB Shotty Snipes
- BTB Skockets Slayer (Skewer and SPNKR Rockets!)
- BTB Team Snipers
Can I unlock anything from this event? Do I have to pay?
Yes, you can unlock stuff from this event. Similar to Fracture: Entrenched or the Interference Narrative Event, you can simply unlock items by completing specially marked Event Challenges in your Challenges list.
The store will continue to sell premium items but items from The Yappening will be available for free in the Event Pass, no cost required.
