I figured I should go ahead and post this just in case anyone was curious, since I don't recall hearing anything specific about this type of thing (sorry if I'm actually really late to this and they've already stated something on the subject). I got this email

a few days ago in reference to one of my submitted bugs from the Tip of the Spear flight.

The bug was this little physics glitch that I didn't know about, as the last Halo game I finished was ODST, and I stopped pretty early on in Reach. Despite that, I wanted to be helpful, so I reported the bug in a similar manner to the other one I've sent in (which I think has passed into some kind of phase 2 or something, based on the email I got from it) and this is what I got back after the initial email

saying they were investigating into it.

So uh, I guess the takeaway from this is that if you've got a favorite little glitch from Reach or something, it might be intentionally left in to preserve the experience, which I'm all for, personally.

It's definitely a fine line but the team's first priority is staying true to the original experiences - even with little quirks and bugs (some of which have become endearing over time). Duck actually has a little write-up in this month's MCC blog addressing this very topic and an example of a small bug they DID change from the original (after careful consideration).
