[2019] Did you have fun at Outpost Discovery?

Those who went to the Outpost Discovery in Orlando. Did you have fun? Do you think it was worth it?

I’m thinking of Driving to LA for the weekend to go to Outpost Discovery and I was wondering if people thought it was worth it. I’ve never been to LA before, so I’m wanting to make a weekend getaway out of it and visit Six Flags or Disney Land as well. I’m looking at the Friday VIP ticket so I can get the exclusive pop. I know I would have fun if I could convince my friend to come along, but he’s not sure of his schedule yet.

There was not even food or drinks in the lounge, you had to leave it inorder to get food and there was a soda drink station but it required you to have already bought the cup from inside the event to get refills. The f**king cup was 25 dollars 😭.

The drink and food situation was addressed by the team on Saturday AM, sorry it was disappointing for you on Friday. Each convention center is different, but they are already working through changes and improvements to the VIP area based on feedback and learnings from Orlando. Funko Pop can be purchased separately at the retail area (while supplies last). Personally I'd say the biggest perk to the VIP is the early / extra access (shorter lines/less people) and the 6 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
