I did want to address this thinking, because I totally get where you're coming from and I actually asked myself the same question recently as well. However, after some thinking, I quickly realized that even if we did share certain aspects of the game, we'd probably still have fake leakers creating false stories.
For example, consider that we just mentioned that we were shifting the game's release to 2021 just two weeks ago. Then, the very next week, we had people spinning up fake leaks about splitting Campaign/MP. Then, the week after that, we had people claiming that our launch was going to be delayed again.
If people are creating these false stories within a week of us releasing information, do you think that us showing more would stop them? Are we now expected to tweet out a weekly reminder that our launch window is still valid? If we show off one thing, will people just fake a leak about another thing?
Yes, it's a tough situation and we know people want more information, but I don't think it's fair to place the blame for other people's actions on our team.
Like I said, I asked myself this same question and I ultimately landed on the fact that we can't control other peoples actions. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from too ✌
