I was watching a recent interview with Bungie's Luke Smith and he said this that I thought was kind of interesting.

Full quote:

"And learn from a bunch of super smart folks and make a bunch goofy of mistakes along the way... and uh. Kind of like, you know... There's some missed zero in the credit tuning for the original Halo: Reach that I still feel bad about.

Where it made some rank way the f*ck too long and it was because I fat fingered a zero or something. You just kind of have to forever because we didn't patch that game, we shipped it and we were done with it."

Super cool interview (so far!) and kind of makes me wonder which rank ended up being way too long. Warrant Officer Grade 3 immediately came to mind but who knows.

I brought this to the attention of the MCC team here, but I believe this should be moot with the Reach release in MCC given they are incorporating a modified progression system.
