I just installed Halo Infinite for the first time, I had heard bad reviews at launch so held off until now. I actually really enjoy it for the most part, it does have it’s problems (like all games) but it’s always fun coming back to Halo.

My campaign experience went pretty good, I did a co-op play through with a friend on Legendary. It took around 4 or 5 days to finish, I enjoyed most of it. The open world is interesting and they did a pretty decent job imo (it reminded me of Far Cry 3/4).

My multiplayer experience was decent, getting a free battlepass and event pass was really nice. Most the guns feel decent in pvp. I have encountered some hit detection issues and some annoying players (like any pvp game).

I have some nitpicks/gripes. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pilot or new Cortana, they both were pretty meh. It seems they threw old Cortana and Atriox on the back burner. It was a very buggy play through, lots of little issues. Only 1 loading screen got old FAST! No infection mode is a bummer. No finishers was also disappointing.

Things I really enjoyed. I really like the banished, red energy weapons are awesome (like the gravity axe at the end of the campaign). The grappling hook is the best addition! The elite fights were really cool (both bosses in the main story).

These are all just my first campaign play through and some multiplayer experiences/opinions. It was a nice jump from halo 5, hopefully the game continues to get better and better.
