[2023] season 3 keeps crashing on steamdeck

My boyfriend has been trying to play the new season 3 update of halo infinite on his steam deck and it has been crashing on startup, even after reinstalling restarting etc. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this if possible? I can try to provide more info if needed.
