hey folks - Not sure if I've seen it mentioned here (at least not recently) but for those who may not know, we've been sharing some fun content on the Halo Instagram account over the past few months. Our audio team has been providing us with small video snippets from their various field recording sessions as they work on the sound design for Halo Infinite. We typically post these every other Saturday, usually in the morning. The most recent example was recording sounds from a "propane cannon" and the one prior was getting all sorts of grunts and snorts out from a loveable Pug.

In any case, thought some folks might not be aware and would find this interesting - after all, it's literally the only thing even remotely related to Infinite you'll find online right now. Big kudos to our audio team for sharing this with us and our community - it's been fun trying to guess and extrapolate how/where/what these sounds may become in Infinite. As long as the community enjoys it, we'll keep 'em coming.

Do you guys have any plans to upload other places as well? I don't use Instagram and can't see them on my phone without getting an account. Sounds amazing though

someone else here in this subreddit put up a montage on YT (posted earlier today). I think Unyshek is talking to them about doing a montage of sorts on Twitter every so often... but we'll discuss. The idea originated as a way to help drive more followers and engagement on Instagram (which is still a smaller channel for us) but at some point it's still fun content that warrants the most eyeballs possible.
