0s Welcome to the Scorching Dunes,
3s the second wing of the Tombs of Terror.
6s My name is Sir Regis Mrrgglton,
10s and I'm going to be your guide on this journey,
13s but it won't be easy.
14s Not only do we have to overcome a Plague Lord, but there's a twist.
19s There's always a twist.
21s With the Plague of Madness, at the end of each player's turn
24s the rightmost minion is going to attack a random enemy,
28s which can quickly create some chaos,
30s but can also work to your advantage if you plan ahead.
34s Think about putting things like really high-attack and low-health minions
37s on the rightmost side of the board so they can take favorable trades.
40s Or put things like Divine Shield, or Lifesteal,
42s or other on-hit effects there if you need some bonuses.
47s Well, that sounds like madness.
50s But thankfully I know a guy -
51s well, a Merloc, anyway - that can help.
55s His name is Sir Finley Mrrgglton,
58s and he's a very distant cousin
62s who's going to be able to help us on this one.
66s For a Merloc, Finley has some pretty cool tools at his disposal.
70s First up are the Signature Treasures.
72s You'll start off with a trusty Pith Helmet -
74s a fashion choice I can certainly appreciate.
78s But I think you can move on to some stronger options
80s after you unlock them.
82s For instance, there's Maxwell, Mighty Steed,
85s a handy early-game minion that can push out lots of damage
88s or take favorable trades.
90s And then there's our good friend Karl the Lost,
93s who will fill your entire board with Taunted and Divine Shield minions.
98s It's a really powerful effect.
100s Glad to have you by our side, noble knight!
103s When it comes to unlocks, you can also work towards my favorite Hero Power,
107s Power Up!
109s This gives a friendly minion Divine Shield and Windfury,
112s which is not only wonderful in its own right,
114s but giving Divine Shield to your rightmost minion can help protect it
118s when it takes Auto-Attacks in this wing.
121s When it comes to Treasures you'll find along the way,
124s definitely take Band of Bees in the Scorching Dunes.
128s This means you can take low-cost minions,
130s put them on the right side of your board, and they will often take wonderful trades
134s into bigger things, because this gives them Poisonous.
139s All I got to say to Sir Finley is...
145s ...because there are going to be some very tough bosses to overcome on this one,
149s and I want to wish him the very best of luck.
152s When it comes to bosses, there are a couple to look out for.
156s Ozara is particularly frightening,
158s with a passive Hero Power that will summon Dust Devils very efficiently,
164s and those can pump out lots of damage.
166s So if you don't have answers to those early swarms,
169s you may come away with a loss.
172s And then, of course, there's the Plague Lord of Madness itself,
175s and this fight will demand a lot of attention
177s when it comes to minion placement,
180s because of its pretty crazy Hero Powers.
184s Evoke Panic will force the minion on board with the lowest health
187s to attack one of its neighbors.
188s So, if you've got a low-health minion on board with high attack,
191s you certainly wouldn't want to put it next to 1 of your higher-value minions -
195s it might kill it.
196s Then there's Systematic Betrayal,
198s which will rotate all minions counterclockwise,
200s applying a 1/1 buff to any that move.
203s This means you want strong minions on the left side of their board
206s and weaker minions on the right side of your board.
210s So, take trades to help develop those scenarios.
213s Knowing these Hero Powers will go a long way
215s towards helping you build your deck correctly.
218s Yeah, that Plague Lord looks pretty scary.
223s But I think you and Sir Finley have all the knowledge you need
227s to defeat it this time around.
229s That said, this won't be the end of our adventures in the Tombs of Terror,
233s so stay tuned for more tips in the future,
236s and, until then, all I have to say is,
239s to adventure...
