With today’s news, it turns out you need 7200 honor to get the golden legendary you didn’t choose.
The honor rates are set at 10 per loss, 20 per win against someone in your faction, and 40 per win against someone in the opposing faction.
Let’s say you have a 50% win rate, and face 50% of the opposing faction.
Your expected honor per game is .5(10) + .25(20) + .25(40), which is 20 honor. You are expected to get 20 honor per game, and you need 7200 honor in just over a month.
That’s 360 games you must play in a month. And Tavern Brawl, Mercenaries, and Battlegrounds don’t count.
That works out to about 11 games per day, or about 90 minutes total. Every single day during the holiday season.
Please consider adjusting either the honor earned or the honor required to collect rewards.
Most of us assumed it would be a fun addition, that if people tried, they would be able to get the other golden legendary. No one wants or expected 90 minutes a day of either regular Hearthstone, Arena, or Duels during the holiday season.

You NEED to earn 7200 honor in just over a month. You’ll need to play over an hour a day everyday to achieve this.
