(Besides quitting).

Hey all!

I started playing hearthstone as a completely new player about two weeks ago and, for the most part, I've really enjoyed creating decks, unlocking cards, and climbing the ranks.

Yesterday I got to rank 22 in standard using a Zoo Warkock deck but I've hit a point where I'm getting annihilated by meta decks and more experienced players. I've also experimented with tempo rogue and i love that playstyle, too. I enjoy the challenge, but it blows to get the beat down almost every game.

How have other people gotten through this stage of the new player experience? I need to win to get gold for packs so it feels like an incredibly uphill battle for little gains. Any tips for navigating this would be great!

If you are new and not sure what cards to put into a deck, press the button to let the computer finish your deck for you. It will help pick your best cards and give you a mana curve. Feel free to tune it from there after playing some games and learning what you like.

Lots of other good advice is already here, but this seems worth mentioning.
