sorry for reposting this, but i feel really helpless since blizzard support wont tell me a thing about what exactly is wrong or what i might have done. please make this thread visible, i am really asking for your help at this point. please be so kind to upvote and comment to bring attention to this, so someone who actually cares at blizzard contacts me and helps me out of this situation. i am so attached to this account, feels more like a 5th limb than a gaming account to me LOL
basically, today i woke up to an email telling me my account is banned for 7 days. my account is around 11 years old at this time, with probably 10k in purchases and more. i have reached legend rank 1 on all leaderboards at some point, even two rank 1 season-finishes.
the reasoning was very vague :
This game account was involved in actions deemed inappropriate for Hearthstone. These may include, but are not limited to:
Exploiting game design
Advertising exploits to other players
Automating any aspect of gameplay
Using an unauthorized cheat program (also known as a hack)
obviously i didnt do any of these things.
exploiting game design ? idk what this might be about. last ingame exploit i remember is in 2019 when people disabled the snip-snap animations and played like 300 of them in a turn.
advertising... not even worth typing it out, why would i do any of this on a 10 year old account with many thousands € worth of purchases ?
automating sounds like botting, which i certainly didnt do, and also doesnt make any sense. i have everything i could ever need for the next 2 years. plenty of dust, which i dont even need since i play only arena nowadays.
what i DID do is have multiple long gaming sessions , some might say suspiciously long. i was doing work on my PC or playing the new COD while having hearthstone on a secondary monitor. these sessions might have lasted up to 30 hours non-stop.
however, i am very "socially active" in hearthstone and just spectating a hand ful of game-replays could clearly show that i am not botting, but very much present and playing the game myself. i have sent a couple of friend requests , and have received many. when i do receive friend requests its mostly to throw insults, but even then i mostly respond with something encouraging like " hope your next game goes better for you"
when i send friend requests its mostly to congratulate the opponent on a crazy deck or a unlikely event. i reviewed all chats with hearthstone-friends and there is really nothing even remotely offensive. i really dont get mad in this game, i have seen it all.
cheat program is BS too. only heartharena and HDT. nothing else.
what i also did is buy a bunch of arena tickets, only to retire most decks. i only play decks that i deemed "fun enough" to be worth my time. everything else was retired. i probably play only 3 out of 10 decks. is retiring decks on mass illegal or something ? if so , i still dont think that would warrant a 7 day ban since i literally PAID for all of these arenas.
i was told some people create accounts, get crazy decks only to sell them to content creators , which really doesnt make any sense since i literally spend money on arena tickets and selling the account wouldnt ever happen.
basically nothing that blizzard accused me of makes any sense at all if they spent any time at all REALLY reviewing my account.
they already replied to a unban-request. the TLDR of this answer would be the following:
we checked your account, you will remain banned for 7 days, we will not respond anymore, go F yourself.
what do i even do next ? snail mail to blizzard HQ ? i literally paid like 100€ for arena tickets in the last 2 weeks and instead of playing arena i am completely banned. support-ticket people dont give a flying F and wont listen to anything i say, and dont even feel the need to explain what they THINK i might have done wrong.
