This is the biggest disadvantage to losing control of the skies. It's harder to keep your logistics alive without your own air power.

But the armored trains are available automatically the moment you take a new piece of railway. They're just there. Static AA requires investing a newly taken state. You can't build a "stockpile" of static AA like you can with trains.

Also, trains are built with MIC and static AA is built with CIC. Depending on your economic situation, you might prefer one to the other.

Yeah, I've read this, too.

For the fighting in France in 1944, the inability to move supplies or reinforcements by day without them getting bombed or strafed was a real problem.
