12s a lantern but unlike the pistol
15s it can have two different variations so
18s the lantern the grounds are holding can

22s or unlit or not lit and depending on
25s that it will uh cause different
27s different effect in the world once it's
29s break so yeah again obviously the
31s grounds can attack you with their melee
33s attacks using the lantern and uh after
36s they hit you like uh the same with the
38s pastel ground the lantern will break on
40s impact what happens or even the lantern
42s breaks
43s as some people might know if the lantern
45s is lit there will be a fire explosion
48s and if the grunt hit you you're probably
49s catching on fire and you're going to
51s want to hold that button to put yourself

54s if the lantern was not lit though it
56s will create a pool of oil on the ground
58s that can be lit up later so you want to
60s make sure you're not going to be
61s standing in that correct and uh yeah

118s their fire to your advantage if you see
120s this lantern grunt and you can take them
122s out before they hit you you can grab
124s that lantern and maybe burn an enemy
126s player or use it to take out an armored
129s something like that and use it to your
130s advantage
132s yeah and meanwhile we are seeing the
134s unlit variation of the ground
136s as you saw if they hit you and the
138s lantern breaks then it will cause an oil
140s puddle on the floor the difference is
142s that you're not getting set on fire
144s basically uh because i see someone
146s saying they couldn't see the difference
147s that's a pretty big difference
150s you're not gonna want to hang out in
151s that uh puddle for too long though so
154s make sure you're keeping an eye out

159s uh the fact that we want to be able to
162s interact with the lantern once that
163s grunt is taken out uh you're not able to
166s shoot the lantern out of the grunt's

168s while they're walking so if you do try
171s to shoot them it will interact like a
172s regular grunt it'll only be when they
174s try to melee you that that fire
175s explosion could happen and that's just
177s to preserve that lantern so you can
179s actually use it once the the grunt has
181s been taken out
183s uh yeah and uh yeah as again and this
185s video has already mentioned if you kill
186s the ground or actually even if you just
188s shoot their arms not the lantern they
190s will in fact drop the lanterns of the
192s floor and unlike in the pistol grounds
194s case where you cannot pick the pistols
196s up in this case you can pick the lantern
198s up and if i'm not mistaken the lantern
200s will be always turned off in this case
203s uh to make sure it doesn't explode so
205s even if the lantern was lit you kill the
207s ground and when it falls on the floor it
209s will be unlit for you
211s so the lantern will fall uh it won't
213s explode but just like any other lantern
216s around the world that you pick up when
217s you throw it it will be a lit lantern
220s that will explode on the first throw so
222s if you do want to throw the lantern and
224s have it unlit you'll still need to use
226s that um like selector button to change
228s the mode of the lantern to off

294s know that you can actually turn the

301s is by the way also the key to switch to
304s secondary fire modes or
306s to take off aperture sights on certain

310s but yeah if you pass a press x with your
312s lantern then it will be either lit or
314s only depending on how it was before
316s yeah if you ever have a friend and
318s they're annoying you a little bit just
320s pick up a lantern turn it off and throw
322s it at them and watch them scream as they
324s try to get out of the blast radius
326s but then it just tumbles to the ground
